Big news from the studio: Dharma Trading Co., the San Francisco-based dye company behind the premium fiber-reactive colors in every OB Tie Dye piece, featured me as one of their Featured Artists. Getting spotlighted by the very company whose dyes make this work possible means the world.
The feature digs into the story behind OB Tie Dye: moving from Minnesota to California, falling head-over-heels for ice dyeing at the start of 2025, and turning an apartment full of thrift flips into a small-batch, one-of-one brand named after Ocean Beach.
