What makes OB Tie Dye pieces unique?
Every piece is hand ice-dyed in small batches in San Diego. The marbling, veining, and color splits are created naturally by ice, premium Dharma dyes, and time — meaning no two pieces will ever be the same.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Most items are made to order. Please allow 2–3 weeks for dyeing, washing, finishing, and packing.
Ready-to-ship items typically ship within 3–5 business days.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes! Customs are usually open unless otherwise noted. You can request colors, patterns, garments, or inspiration photos. Start a custom request through the Contact page.
How do I care for my OB Tie Dye pieces?
To keep your piece looking its best:
• Wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Hang dry only
• Avoid bleach or harsh detergents
• Wash with similar colors the first few cycles
Rayon pieces (like kimonos) will keep their soft drape when hang-dried.
What materials do you use?
I work with high-quality blanks from AS Colour, Made Blanks, and LA Apparel. All dyes are professional, fiber-reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Co.
Will my item look exactly like the photos?
No — and that’s the magic. Your piece will match the vibe and color palette shown but will have its own unique pattern and marbling.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! Local pickup in Ocean Beach / Point Loma is available at checkout. You’ll get an email with pickup details once your order is ready.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, OB Tie Dye ships within the U.S. only.
What is your return or exchange policy?
Because each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes?
Yes! Every order comes packaged with branded tags, stickers, and a thank-you note.
