A lightweight, flowy kimono robe finished with one-of-a-kind hand ice-dyed color. Each robe is dyed by hand in Ocean Beach, San Diego using professional fiber-reactive dyes, then washed, dried, and finished in our small home studio.

Wear it as a beach layer, getting-ready robe, bridesmaid gift, vacation piece, or everyday color therapy. Choose a signature OB Tie Dye colorway or select custom colors for a robe made in your direction.

  • 100% soft, breathable Bali rayon with a fluid, silky drape
  • Lightweight feel with natural movement
  • Short robe: relaxed 3/4 sleeves, mid-thigh length
  • Long robe: full-length sleeves, drapes toward the ankle
  • One Size and Plus Size cuts - Plus has a wider wrap and longer sash
  • Removable sash with belt loops for adjustable styling
  • Works as a robe, swimsuit cover-up, festival layer, or lightweight kimono cardigan
  • Hand ice-dyed in San Diego
  • One-of-a-kind pattern on every piece

Fit notes: Designed with a relaxed, easy wrap that drapes comfortably across a wide range of body types. Approximate lengths: Short 39" (Plus 44"), Long 53" (Plus 57"). If you're between sizes or love extra drape, go Plus.

How It's Made

Each piece is hand ice-dyed in our San Diego studio using a slow-melt process where dye powders are layered over ice. As the ice melts, it creates organic color splits and soft, natural gradients that can’t be replicated.

Processing Time

Each robe is made to order and hand-dyed just for you.

Please allow 2–3 weeks for dyeing, washing, finishing, and shipment.

Ice Dye Color & Variation

Ice dye is an organic, unpredictable process. Color placement, marbling, and saturation will vary from piece to piece.

Your robe will stay within the selected color family, but no two will look exactly alike—variation is part of what makes each one special.
